The Battle Of Gettysburg started on July 1 and ended on July 3 and it was on the date of 1863.Robert E Lee General Of The Confederates invaded the North aka the Union army held off Lee’s army to defeat the Union once and for all but the Union was unsuccessful and retreated to Gettysburg,Pennsylvania this was a major turning point on the war. :The Leaders of the Confederate Army was led by General Robert E.
