Daniel 3:1-25
This verse tells us about the time that Daniel stood fast in his faith and the result of his unwavering faith in God. The King told Daniel to bow down and worship him and he refused. Daniel instead prayed to God for guidance and assistance. Daniel’s refusal to obey angered the King; therefore the King then threw Daniel into a fiery furnace. Daniel was not injured in the furnace because God sent angels, down from heaven, to protect him. Daniel continued to praise God and speak Gods truth.
The Shield of Faith
Exodus 13:17-22
This verse explains to us about the time that God protected the Israelites from the Egyptians. God protected them by parting the Nile River for them to allow them to escape. The Israelites were forced out of Egypt by the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh had a very cold heart. The Israelites ran in the night but they were followed by the Egyptian Army, sent by the Pharaoh. The Israelites were able to cross the Nile as God parted it for them. God closed the Nile on the Egyptian Army. Despite Daniel’s size, he was much smaller and shorter than Goliath, he was not afraid to confront Goliath. Daniel trusted in God and the righteousness of his goals. Daniel was confident in his faith and that God would provide a victory for Israel. God did provide a victory for Israel. Through this factory God protected Daniel and the Israelites.
