What Is Baby Boomers Decision Making Process
The third important step in decision making process of Baby Boomers for purchase of CPGs is evaluation of alternatives. This step involves the comparison of two different brands regarding the price and the quality. As per buying behavior of Baby Boomers, they are more concerned about the quality then price, so if there are two different brands of body soap, they will look for a brand with good quality (Chaney et al., 2017). The forth important step in decision making process of Baby Boomers for purchase of CPGs is decision making. At this stage, Baby Boomers will decide and finally purchase the product (body soap). This is an important stage because if a consumer becomes satisfied with his/her purchase, he/she will directly fall at this stage for purchasing the same product in future. The final step in decision making process of Baby Boomers as consumer for purchase of CPGs is evaluation of purchase. At this stage, Baby Boomers have purchased the product and evaluate their purchase by keeping in view their needs and buying criteria. …show more content…
The reason is that online advertising and marketing has more potential to engage more viewers (Baby Boomers) than mass media advertising. Today every person including Baby Boomers generation is using electronic devices which are linked with internet such as smartphones, laptops, tablets etc. Furthermore internet is main source of communication with each other (DeMers, 2016). Now a days, billion of peoples including Baby Boomers’ generation as consumer use different sorts of social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. So advertisement through internet which is called as online advertising engaged more viewers (Baby Boomers) as compared to mass media advertising and ultimately impact the decision making process of Baby Boomers for purchase of CPGs or other types of
