What Is Atticus Finch Courageous
The Most Courageous Sometimes it is hard to show courage. It does not come easy and is only for the brave. Atticus Finch is a caucasian man living in the 1930’s in Maycomb County. Atticus Finch lives during a time when racism and prejudice towards African Americans is very present in the town. Atticus Finch fights in trial, for an African American who is wrongly accused of rape of a young white girl. He is up against a jury filled with all white men during a very prejudice time. In the 1930s it was very hard for an African American to win a trial against the word of a white man.     Atticus is the bravest person in the story. An event that shows the bravery of Atticus is when the rabid dog is walking through the neighborhood and he has to shoot it.
