What Is A Minimal Conflict Nation
Every Nation has conflict. Whether it be internal within communities, or external between other nations. If one were to start a new nation, you would need to build it with a mindset of keeping future conflicts at a minimum. This will result in a long lasting nation, along with a content population. Here is a plan I propose for a “minimal conflict nation”. The government is a critical part of keeping a nation within order. However, problems arise when a government is given too much power and won’t help their citizens. An example of this is pre World War I russia. The tsar was given full power and money, and when faced with the economic problems citizens were dealing with, he did little to help them. This is why a minimal conflict nation would …show more content…
Votes can take place from nation wide to community wide depending on the circumstances. I think this is the way to go because it allows everyone to have a say, instead of having a individual or a group decide on what actions are taken. This allows for the majority of the population of be satisfied with the changes, and if the majority are not ok with things, they have the ability to change it. This is unlike other democracies, where instead of voting on a president to handle actions, everyone votes on an action that needs to be taken. However, there are still multiple sources of power in the government. The Executive power is controlled by a fairly large group of people. This group controls the day to day actions that need to be taken. They don’t decide on the actions though, the citizens who vote do, they just carry the actions out. The legislative power is another group of people, they control the laws that are put into place. If a law is in demand, the citizens will choose if they want it. But if a law is very much needed in the community, they will put it into place without a vote. The Judicial powers consist of a court system that works like the USA. Laws are administered through a police force. Breaking the law would result in review though court and punishment if necessary. I think this system of government put into place would work the best. This is because it's set up in a …show more content…
The system I selected for the minimal conflict nation is a capitalist economy. In a perfect world, a socialist or communist economy would work better for less conflict. This is because everyone gets the same ‘paycheck’, making everyone equal. However, I didn’t choose those because they never worked successfully previously. An example of this is Cuba, which is a communist country. Cuba has been facing economic troubles for decades now, and they’re having a hard time fixing it. This is why capitalism was chosen, most capitalist countries have survived with economies that could recover well in the event that they crash, a good example being the

Although all wars are conflicts, not all conflicts are wars. Conflicts don’t always have the involvement of armed hostiles, battles or even the involvement of the military. Conflicts can range from anything as little as an argument between politicians, all the up to an official war. Many people believe since World War 2 there have been less conflicts; however there has simply been less conflicts between nations and more within nations. One of the biggest reasons for this is that 90% of countries are made up of different ethnic groups and cultural groups. Some people do not like different types of people in their country which leads to conflict.…

The Executive Branch is responsible for enforcing the laws that are written by Congress. The President has power to sign the bill or he can veto it, but Congress can override this veto with two-thirds vote of both houses. Our Founding Fathers did not want the Executive Branch to be as powerful the European governments. They did not want a king, they wanted a limited government with the Legislative Branch having the most power. We need this process because our government in 1787 was in confusion.…

Setting up a new government system for Anation is a difficult and slow task. Anotion should be a democratic nation. Since democracy is a nation is which every citizen has an equal say Anation should feel like this governmental system is what works best for them. Federalism would be utilized in this nation. By following the principles of common federalism power would be distributed at regional, national and supranational levels. By setting up a democratic government Anation can make choices that the citizens have a say in. The fact of the matter is that you cannot make everyone happy with any decision that is made. It is just not possible. So by have a democracy and electing officials and voting it gives the fairness or at least the illusion of fairness. We believe that the legislature have the most power in our society. Legislature is a branch of the government who are also often known as the legislative branch and the congress. The legislatures are most commonly known to be able to create laws. Laws are defined as a system of rules that regulate actions. The legislature has control over what the citizens can or cannot do. Some might say that the president also has control over the laws created because of the fact that in order for a law to pass, the president must write his signature of approval. This is true, however in reality; the president cannot stop a law from being created by the legislature. Why, because although the president can veto the legislature’s decision, the legislature can also return the favour and veto his decision. For example, if the legislature decided that marijuana should be legalized and the president refuses to sign his or her approval, the legislature can veto that decision and the law will pass. Countries are controlled by laws, not the president. The legislative is also the branch in the government that declares war. They have the sole power to decide whether war will happen or not. Not only does that, but the congress also regulate our military system. They have power over weapons that can destroy the world. Another reason why the legislature has the most power in our society is because they regulate and control money. They control the international commerce. They control the taxes. They can make the taxes skyrocket if they pass the bill. They can borrow money at their will. They have economic power. The legislation is made up from two very important parts in our government: the House of Commons and the Senate. The Senate examines the bills, and decide whether or not they will become laws. They can also make their own bills. No bill can become a law without the Senate approving it. Together with the House of Commons and also the queen, they become the Parliament of Canada. The…
