What influences a person’s choice?
Every single person in the world has his own decisions and sometimes people influence our decisions and change our way of life. Our lives can be influenced by peoples, places and school, etc… These things and others can influence a person's choices, life and decisions.
People influence our decisions. For example: People, friend, coaches, teachers and also families affect my decisions. Friends influence us by telling us what’s right or wrong. We will accept their decisions because they are equal in age with us (peers). Also, teachers influence our lives by the information they gave us. The most influential is our families. Our families influence us more than other things because we spend most of our time with them. This is how people influence our decisions.
Places influence my decisions. For example: where I live is a big influence, Where I have lived will affect my decisions .The place that I used to live will affect my life by people around the city as well as the TV commercials, shows, and also the culture of the city. And the place that I used to live before, (in my country) they have their own shows, culture and also the people in the country will affect our lives because peoples and places are totally different. This is how places influence my decisions.
School influences my decisions. For example: activities and what i learn, and the rules of the school influence my decisions. For example: If I am doing my homework and then i don’t know how to do the last question, i will check other activities that are the same and then it may show me the right way to do it. And also the information that i get from the teacher or book will show me the right way. Rules of the school also show me how to be a good boy and they show me the right and the wrong ways. This is how school influences my life.
People, school and places influence our lives. There are other things that influence our lives, choices and decisions. So every person’s

Social location, or the status in life that people have because of their place in a society, have a huge impact on everyone. The impact that social location created could be neutral, but most of the time it will have a positive or negative impact on people. For example, an African American could be discriminated because of his ethnicity, or a patient will choose an older doctor when he needs a treatment. Different social location that we have will affect our decisions in everyday life, and most of the time it happened subconsciously, which means we don’t realize that the decisions we make are based on our social location. Decisions are one of the most detrimental aspects of life. They range from what we do today to what we think of the newest trends. People always believe that their decisions are made at their own discretion, however, more often than not, the things we do are a result of the thoughts, actions, and ideas of the people around us. The effects of influence are everywhere, yet no one seems to notice. In the article “The Invisible Influence”, Jonah Berger discusses the positive and negative impacts it has on our lives. In the book Ender’s Game, Orson Scott Card shows how easily children can be swayed by the environment they grow up in, which leads them to make skewed decisions, both good and bad. In both texts, the authors illustrate how the looming presence of influence drives many of our decisions in our daily lives.…

There’s an old saying by Eleanor Roosevelt that states “You can never really live anyone else's life, not even your child's. The influence you exert is through your own life, and what you've become yourself.” I believe this statement is true. However, what Eleanor Roosevelt fails to mention was who, or what kind of people come into our lives and influence us to change for the better. Do these particular individuals shape our paths, or our futures? Or when these people come into our lives is it meant to happen for a reason? No one knows for sure, but when we meet someone who leaves such a profound effect on our hearts and minds, like foot prints in the sand we remember them forever. Ben Carson always mentions that his mother helped shaped his life, as well as his family, students, teachers, his strong belief in god, and his love for books helped shaped his future. Throughout middle school, high school and college these key influences would lead him to what he has become today.…

Anthony Robbins once said “It’s in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.” People make so many quick decisions unconsciously, whereas other decisions are lamented over. Society makes choices and creates opinions through deep mental thought which is influenced by preference, logic, feelings, and reflection. Some people may even question whether free will is a believable concept. Others believe it is all within our own power to make decisions that will lead to greater happiness. Little decisions lead to big consequences because when small and simple decisions are made, big decisions are to come, choices indicate character, and every decision made impacts other decisions.…

What influences your opinions and decisions in life? Is it a fact base analysis of a topic, providing you with statistical evidence to back its claims, or is it an emotional based claim that tugs at your heartstrings and connects with your past? Both forms of argument are fighting for your acceptance of its arguments, but do so in conflicting ways. On one end of the spectrum, a Dodge commercial exploits your emotional connection to your country and leverages that to sway your opinion of their new car. And on the other end, a writer uses facts and data to convince you that the legalization of marijuana is the right thing to do.…
