What Happened During The Ice Storm Analysis
We were taught to think of someone's perspective and understand their feelings. However, people sometimes seem to forget to think of others. The major theme of “What Happened During the Ice Storm” is treating someone as you would like to be treated. The boy's dad knew pheasant had a gigantic disadvantage during the ice storm. Pheasants couldn’t move due to the cold weather. Animals probably don’t want to die without being able to do anything. We humans are animals after all. We shouldn’t take advantage of an animal’s disadvantage. Put yourself in pheasant’s shoes. Watching your friends get harvested by a gigantic beast and waiting for you to get harvested next wouldn't be a fun thing to do. Since boys knew his father’s act was improper, boys
