1. What conclusions can you make about your professional growth based on the evidence points found on your rubrics?

One thing I can conclude about my professional growth based on the rubric is that my classroom management has improved. I feel that I have been standing my ground firmly when it comes to expectations, but also creating an environment where students feel safe to ask questions and come to me with problems. I also feel that I am still giving clear instructions to my students and repeating them a few times to make sure every student hears and understands them.
Looking at my goals, I noticed that I am starting to vary my tone of voice more, but still need to work a little more on it. I also think I am improving on thinking more like my students, especially when it comes to giving directions and explaining things.

My cooperating teacher even encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and use funny voices when explaining really important concepts. I used this technique when teaching about fractions. I used a very deep voice when I said denominator and a very high voice when I said numerator. This seemed to help students remember these concepts because they understood that the denominator was the tough one who held everything up. When I vary the tone and volume of my voice, students seem to be able to keep their focus for a longer amount of time. Although I still need to work on varying my voice more often, I am trying to more frequently and plan to continue to make learning more interesting by avoid speaking in
