What Are The Similarities Between African Americans And Jews
Was it right what happened to Blacks and Jews back then? Terrible things happened to both African Americans and Jews. These events caused many people to change their minds about blacks and Jews. Today, people are still affected by what has happened. In the oppression of Jews and African Americans there was many similarities and differences. African Americans were brought into the US by Dutch slave traders. Many slaves worked on plantations for the whites and worked hard everyday. If any disobeyed or tried to escape they were beaten to death or just beaten. Enslaved African Americans could eventually earn freedom by buying it or if their owners made them free. When Blacks finally got rights and were free citizens of the US, they still got discriminated harshly. Martin Luther KIng Jr. was a main impact on African Americans getting rights and freedoms.

Nazis referred to Jews as rats. When Nazis called Jews subhuman, they meant it. They were both executed and tortured for their differences to other people.
