LONG TERM CAUSES OF THE GREAT WAR!
There were four long term causes for the war. The reasons were militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism. Militarism was when a country thought that it needed a strong military. Alliances were the agreements that countries made with one another to support each other. Imperialism was when one country took over another country that was outside of its boundaries. The last reason was nationalism, which was when one country thought that they were superior to another country.
