What Are The Five Different Custody Levels
The different custody levels are related to the amount of staff supervision needed for certain inmates. This is more related to providing great security and to provide enough safety within the prison facility. The inmate housing are separated into five different levels. Within the Bureau of Prisons Inmate Classification System the levels are classified into maximum, medium and minimum custody levels. These custody levels were made for the safety of the guards and for the safety of the inmates within the facilities along with the inmates program needs.
Custody classification is how inmates are evaluated. This kind of evaluation tends to happen before the inmates arrive to the prison facility. The classification is done by trained officials,

    The four types of prisons are federal, state, municipal, and military. A federal prison is operated and managed by the government.
