What are the effects of social pressure on people's lives ?
The social influence a peer group exerts on its individual members, as each member attempts to conform to the expectations of the group. Over the past century there has been a dramatic increase in percentage of people who are affected by social pressure. Therefore, they come up against significant problems. These problems effects people's lives negatively and people are affected by each other easily. This is like a loop and each person is affected by another person. Thus, some problems come forward such as; identity loss and lack of self-confidence. First of all, people lose their identity after they born due to social pressure. Because, communities have certain morals and cultures. People try to keep and don't want to modify these values. After they lose their identity, they are being narrow-minded by social pressure. This is very dangerous for evolution communities' because it is very hard to accept a diverse range of opinions and ideas for a community that includes narrow-minded people. Therefore, people can't think creatively in this communitiy. After this point, the social pressure becomes increasingly difficult to ignore for people. Not only losing identity is effect people badly but also no self-confident is a problem for people. Lack of self-confidence is the major problem to escape from social pressure. Without self-confidence, people can't find the strength in theirself to resist the social pressure so they chose to obey the majority even if they don't think it is the right thing to do. They become conformist and they may not like eachother but they still follow ideas of the group. To sum up, Social pressure is effect people's lives negatively and they have been narrow-minded from result of the effects. They should be attitude and they trust themselves.
