What Are The Carnival Freaks?
In the town of Green Town, Illinois, a Carnival mysteriously appears a week before Halloween. Two boys, best friends William Halloway and Jim Nightshade, stumble across the Carnival that seems amazing, but not everything is as it seems. Late at night, the boy’s discover a magic Carousel that can manipulate the age of anyone who rides it. The boys discover that the Carnival Freaks and their leader known as Mr. Dark use the ride to grant the desires of others in order to fuel their nightmare induced illusions. Will and Jim are tempted by Mr. Dark, and because they know of their motive, he refuses to let them leave.
