What Are Michael Jackson's Three Major Accomplishments
On August 29, 1958, Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana. Five years later, influenced by his father, Michael joined his brothers group and emerged as the lead singer. The Jackson 5 quickly became a house hold name making number one on Billboard Hot 100 in 1969 with the single “I Want You Back”. Along with vocals Michael also played the guitar and some percussions. Audiences were astonished at the deep emotional connection and wide range young Michael was able to deliver. His vocals were considered his main instrument.
By 1972, at the age of 13, Michael released his first solo album entitled Ben. Although, Michael had pursued a solo career the Jackson 5 never official disbanded. And after years of touring with them and releasing another album entitled Off the Wall in 1982 Michael teamed up with the rock legend Paul McCartney for the single “The Girl Is Mine”.
