Topic: Wedding ceremony between China and Korea

A. Method of this paper:
I like to attend the wedding ceremony and in the future I will be a bride, so I want to know about the whole process of wedding ceremony and introduce it to everybody. Wedding ceremony is very romantic and sweet, everybody look for a true lover to get married. So the wedding ceremony is necessary part of our life.
In my paper, I will introduce you about the wedding in Korea and in China. There are some common things and different things between these two countries. Some customs in Korea are circulated form ancient China. Of course, Korean also has their classic wedding ceremony. Then I talk about the luxury wedding ceremony, what problems are existed till now and people’s opinion.

B. The main body

Common things
Both Korea and China, the marriage between a man and woman represents the joining of two families, rather than the joining of two individuals. Immerse traditional Confucian values.
Like the Chinese, Koreans also exchanged the "eight characters" to determine if the match was suitable.
But nowadays the religion problems appeared, so some of the Korean doesn’t trust the fortune-teller, they trust the god and themselves.

1) Korea

1. Korean wedding
Traditional wedding in South Korea has become one part of the Korean popular culture, while the earliest part was dating back to 300 years ago.
In ancient Korea:
In ancient times, the wedding day the weddings were held in the bride's yard or house. The groom traveled by horse to the bride's house and after the wedding ceremony took his wife in a palanquin (cart) to his parents' house to live. The bride and groom wore formal court costumes for the wedding ceremony. Ordinary people were permitted to wear the luxurious clothes only on their wedding day. Hand lanterns are used for lighting the way from the groom's home to the bride's home on the night before the wedding. Traditionally, the groom's family would carry a wedding

    A Pakistani wedding has four steps. The first one is called 'mangni' which is actually an engagement ceremony. It certified the engagement of the couple. It is a small ceremony that takes place only in front of few family members of bride and groom and it doesn't have to be a big ceremony. After that the prayer and blessings are recited and the wedding date is decided. The next ceremony is the Mayun where the bride enters a state of separation for 8 to 15 days it depends on the wedding date.
