Way to Protect Our Environment
An essential problem of the 21st century is the world pollution. Currently the environment is so much contaminated that urgent measures should be taken. The single individual cannot be blamed for the world pollution; however every person should take care of his or her habitat. In addition, it is vital that environmental issues should be treated internationally. There are trivial things that we can do individually to save the environment. In making some small changes in the way we do in daily activities, we can help to protect our environment from being polluted.

The first thing that we can do to save our environment is by walking or riding our bike instead of driving whenever possible. In doing so, we can reduce the air pollution. In facts, fumes from the vehicles contain carbon monoxide which is very dangerous to human life. Carbon monoxide is one of the poisonous gas which can cause headache, nausea, the shortness of breath, dizziness and confusion to human. If we can reduce the content of carbon monoxide in the air, for sure we can also protect our earth from being polluted. At the same time, we can maintain our health as we cycling we can inhale fresh air which is very good for our respiratory system. So that we can easily say that one of the ways to save our environment is by walking or cycling whenever possible.

Our earth is rich with diverse flora and fauna. Unfortunately, some of the species such as 'orang utan' and tapir is now facing extinction. As a responsible person, we should take care of our unique flora and fauna. The best way for us to protect our wildlife is by opening the maintenance and conservation centre for the animal which is rapidly decreasing in number. In doing so, we can protect that animal from being extinct. At the conservation centre, we can take care of them, feeding them and treat them if they are sick. For example, we can see in Sepilok, Sabah where orang utan are treated with care to avoid extinction. Flora such as rafflesia

To begin, one of the most common causes of pollution is from motor vehicles. Most people drive their cars to wherever it is that they need to be. Every time someone drives their car, they are putting pollution into the air and damaging the planet. There are a few ways to reduce the amount of pollution you put in the air and one of those ways is carpooling. This is definitely the most effective way because by carpooling, there is one less car that is putting out pollution and which adds up over time. According to statisticbrain.com there are 85 million gallons of gas saved yearly by carpooling. The only problem is that only 10% of Americans carpool which is not a very good percentage and it needs to grow. In additions, another way to prevent pollution is walking or biking to destinations that aren’t too far away. This way, there is no pollution being put in the air at all which is not only good for the planet but it’s also good for exercise. People pollute the air every day but the amount can easily be reduced.…

Firstly, vehicles are one of the leading causes of pollution. They burn high amounts of fuel and release toxin gases; for instance, during the eighteenth century, in London, this resulted in an increase of carbon dioxide in the air, and citizens had to wear face masks to avoid getting sick. Nowadays, engineers have made gasoline and electric powered cars which are economically friendly, and burn less fuel. Furthermore, local travelers who travel as far as going to work, school or shopping or more should only use four cylinders or less powered vehicles to release less CO2 into the atmosphere.…

This is because our actions might seem little and can do much harm to the environment but as time passes by and all our actions are added up together and this might cause chaos in the future. Damaging the environment is not a petty issue. Planet earth as we all live in seems to be the only planet that is capable of supporting human life. Once it is damage beyond repair, it might wipe out our species.…

Technology has changed the world is so many positive ways. We can pick up the phone and call anywhere, anytime. We can travel on land, in the air, and even into space. We can identify someone using a simple drop of blood using DNA. How can something with such positive effects also have such profound negative ones? According to the textbook, Society and Technological Change, the most obvious and longest lasting consequence of technological advance is the alteration and destruction of the natural environment (Volti, 88). If each generation continues to destroy our environment, what happens when we get to the point of not having one? How are future generations supposed to breathe without air and trees? A Native American proverb says, "Man did not inherit the earth. He merely borrowed it from his grandchildren". This says to me that we need to save our earth so that our grandchildren have a chance to swim, climb trees, and enjoy the wonderful gift that we have "borrowed".…

Some call their vicinity and the air just around them their environment, while others call the atmosphere of their country the environment. In fact, our environment is everything that is around us: the living and non-living things together. With a lot of unnatural factors happening around us in terms of human intervention with the environment, our natural environment is depleting day by day. The natural resources such as water, land, air, etc. are getting affected by these activities from humans that are going on at a fast pace.…

The first solution to reduce air pollution is by using vehicles wisely. The use of vehicles can produce gases causing air pollution such as carbon monoxide (CO). “It is largely made up of pollutants emitted from fuel-burning vehicles, factories, waste incineration, smoking, and more.” (Simmons, 2013). To reduce the use of private vehicles, we can start to use public transports such as city buses. The use of public transports will reduce the burning of fossil fuels. Another alternative is by riding a bicycle. Not all people are accustomed to ride a bicycle to go to work, campus, or to do daily activities outside of the house. They prefer to ride their cars or motorcycles because these are faster. However, riding a bicycle is one of the effective ways to reduce air pollution because bicycles are more eco-friendly rather than cars, motorcycles, buses, or even other public transports.…

Global climate change, disappearance of habitat for wildlife, the rising number of animal and plant species being threatened with extinction, waste pollution, contamination of drinking water, oil spills and a number of other harmful effects of human activities on the environment are seriously threatening the well-being of our planet. You may feel helpless against so many environmental problems but you have more power than you may think. And by joining the efforts to keep our planet green, in many ways, such as by using greener building products like recycled garden furniture there is a great chance that at least few people you know will follow your example. They are highly likely to encourage other people to start thinking about their impact on the nature, etc. leading to a powerful movement with a considerable influence. But let’s take one step at a time.…
