Was The Civil War Inevitable
One of the most interesting questions in America is was the Civil War Inevitable. Could the North and South resolved their differences another way? Yes, if the federal government allowed the states to do whatever they wished and if the North and South did not care about each other the war would’ve never happened. The Heart of the conflict was that the states were originally independent.
Slavery was one of the causes of the civil war. The South depended on slavery to fuel their economy. They had small plantations and needed a lot of labor to generate income. The North can do fine without slavery. They mostly had factories which didn’t require much labor. The South believed they couldn’t keep up with the North’s income without slavery. The

    The North and the South were very different economically. The South had little industry; it was based off of an agrarian economy (Doc B).
