Was Romeo And Juliet Truly In Love With Each Other?
What would you do if you loved someone related to your worst enemy? Would you tell them how you feel or would you not say anything? That is what a boy named Romeo did to a girl named Juliet and Juliet to Romeo. Even though they were from rival families they still told each other that they loved each other and they were in love throughout the entire story. Romeo and Juliet were truly in love with each other because they still tried to get married, even though their families would disagree, they tried to come up with a plan for them to be together, even though Romeo was banned from the city, and because Juliet stayed true to Romeo even though she was forced to marry Paris.
To begin with, Romeo and Juliet were truly in love because they went through all the trouble to try and get married even though their families would disagree. For example, Romeo says to Friar Lawrence, “...what thou must combine By holy marriage.” (Act 2 Scene 3). This shows that Romeo went to a Friar and convinced him to marry them even though that the Friar knew that the families were rivals.Also, Juliet sent a messenger to Romeo to deliver a message to tell him on what he thinks about what they should do about their relationship.As well as, Romeo tries to stop Tybalt from fighting, “...beat down their weapons.” (Act 3 Scene …show more content…

Romeo and Juliet is a story that tries to connect two people together even though their families will not allow it, just like if you tried to marry someone but no one said you could because of their race or skin
