Wars are very harmful phenomena that cause pain and harm to all of the people that…
Is it greed? Or even possibly power? Or even just for the enjoyment? Nobody knows why war has started but we do know that war has been going on since man was born, there is an undeniable proof of war all throughout history. War has been compared to as a chest match, the whit and strategy of one general versus another army to army; some generals chose to just try to outpower their enemies, while others tried to outsmart them.…
Wars have always brought an abundant amount of hate, sorrow, death; no matter how great is the reasoning and the obligation. Despite of all those horrible things, war have always exists like if it were part of human nature. However, when it come to comparing different wars on different time and locations, some at least seems to have more logical sense and significance when compare to others. Particularly the wars involved with United States, wars such as the fight for independence and from oppression from the British, world war one due to the German submarine attack on one of the American cargo ship, and the civil war due to separation of the north and southern states. All of these were a necessity and rational for the most part.…
“War never changes.” A memorable quote in the opening of the Fallout games describes exactly how war is. It will always be the same, death of people for others benefits. There will never be an era where peace triumphs war as long as humans live if we continue with how we interact with other countries. It's not all happiness and good times when war strikes, death of thousands, even entire nations are wiped off the planet. Should we continue with war or find some other way to reason with each other?…
War is a horrible act that is fully capable of leaving scars on innocent people at horrifying scales, and can change how we see others just by the way that they were involved. War is capable of changing the perspective of entire societies.…
Historically, war has been the leading solution for solving conflicts globally. Though combat tactics have become increasingly more sophisticated over many centuries. The ability to affect and change the world through war stayed the same. All the while, the mentality of the public has become increasingly dissociative, and people have less interest on a large scare. From World War I until now, war has constantly evolved, and support has constantly fluctuated.…
One reason there are wars is when two countries are at a disagreement, like in the civil war the south and the north were having disagreements about slaves. Other times it´s about an offence like if some Korean soldier came over and shot 30 people we would probably declare war on Korea. Sometimes it´s when we get forced into a war, like when Japan bombed Pearl harbor they forced us to defend our country.…
War occurs if one party harms another party, and people have voiced their concerns about the situation, requesting for war as kind of like a solution, after an understanding (Thucydides 1954, 69). Thucydides presents that this will yield positive outcomes because of their military competence and firm discipline in implementing commands (Thucydides 1954,…
Wars are all preventable and cruel to all people involved especially to the small who is fighting for big companies oil sometimes laying down their own life, “Mankind must put an end to war before war puts an end to mankind”- John F.…
Many people believe that wars do not always have a valid reason to be fought. Some of the arguments are that it brings death of civilians that could have been avoided. But in truth, people die every day. War may cause some harmful things, but, if you think about it, don’t people? I believe, and encourage you to believe with me, that wars are in fact necessary. Not just because we are fighting for what we believe in, but good things do come of war. Such as brotherhood, patriotism to your country, and also unifies our country as a whole by us coming together.…
Some people think war is justified because; it is in order to counter terrorism. I think they're wrong because rather than war being the only solution my opinion is that war is the worse way to handle a conflict. I agree, that sometimes we are forced to do things we might not want to do, for example after the terrorist attack of September 11, it became inevitable for United States not to retaliate. It is logical and justifiable that the people, who are involved in those attacks directly or indirectly, must be captured and punished for killing more than 3000 people. However, I don't think that it makes war acceptable. In war, we intend to kill enemy troops, to get to dangerous leaders and avenge our own loss. Yet, we cannot have a violent, successful war without killing innocent people. If we are going to war to avenge the killing of our own citizens, think of what we are doing to them. We are going off and killing their innocent people, causing them the same pain we felt. Crito did not understand the madness of Socrates, Crito will do whatever it takes to help his friend to flee, instead of being exiled by the government. AI do not think that what you are doing is right, to give up your life when you can save it, and to hasten your fate as your enemies would hasten it, and indeed have hastened it in their wish to destroy you.@(Crito )…
War presents a very complex moral dilemma. While it is necessary to fight for freedom, a better world, and what is right, war contradicts itself. The very same soldiers that fight in defense of these values have them taken away because of their experiences at war. The negative effects are just as big as the positive effects of war. A nation can never really win in war because of this. Instead war just stays a neutral thing.…
It is reasonable to conclude that all wars are bad, but, in rare cases, war is forced upon the participants by the actions of one or all parties. It is also reasonable to believe that the negative effects of war, in all cases, far exceed the potential benefits. The fact is there are no good wars.…
War is a current moral issue because violence is regarded as wrong. Instead of war there should be negotiation and arbitration. War is violent conflict between human beings. There have been many conflicts and wars in history but it is known that humans have also thought about morals and ethics during that time. Although during war many lives are lost and damaged almost all human beings know and have been taught from religion and culture that taking away one’s life is morally wrong. Blood is shed in war and therefore war is a moral issue, to conduct warfare within moral limits is not possible unless conflicts are discussed and brought to a fair conclusion.…
War is a very sensitive subject that most people have very opinionated and specific ideas about. Some believe that war can be a justifiable operation and others recognize it as an unjust act that harms human life. No matter what side you look at both opinions can generally agree that resorting to war risks human life and creates hostility that could easily be prevented. Even though those that promote war apprehend that it as protection, in actuality it causes more harm than good by the loss of lives during battle. War is the greatest evil that humankind has ever invented and it involves unjustifiable actions that kill people, destroys property and ravages the environment.…
