Want and Hotel Marine Manager
To: Hotel Marine Manager

Dear Hotel Marine Manager,
My name is Milana, I am an Account Manager for Corporate Travel at Universal Airlines, and now I represent the interests of the company ICON. They have chosen Hotel Marine for seminar, which starts on Friday July 5th and ends on Sunday July 7th. So I want to book this dates for ICON Company.
I want to give you details. There are 20 participants, so I want to book twenty single rooms for them. Most of them will arrive on Friday afternoon. The departure time is after 5 p.m. on Sunday evening.
They need to have one large conference room and three smaller seminar rooms. They require the following equipment: overhead projector, a flip chart, Power-Point, VCR.
What about cuisine? Do you have a vegetarian menu here? There are two participants, who are vegetarian. Four participants do not drink alcohol, and six are smokers, so they need a smoking area.
The group includes one participant who uses a wheelchair. Do you have a comfortable environment for people with disabilities?
As for meal, they need only a dinner on Friday, but on Saturday and Sunday they want breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Finally we would like to ask you for a discount as a corporate client. We can sign an agreement, and in the future we will use the services of your hotel in France, we’ll become your loyal customer.
Could you give me an approval via e-mail no later than 12 a.m. tomorrow?
We hope to have a good seminar at your hotel.

Best regards
Milana Mustafaeva

As my partner and I maneuvered around campus, we came across various barriers which would hinder the best performance of an individual in a wheelchair. For example, in Birch Hall we attempted to access the available study rooms, but the doors to the study rooms are made of thick glass, making the process of opening the door extremely difficult. Moreover, we traveled from the Birch building to the Hickory building, entering a steep path. We identified that a person in a wheelchair could potentially lose control as a result of the path’s downhill nature. In addition, when we reached the Hickory building, we found that the restrooms had no doors. Although, at first, this would appear to benefit an individual with a wheelchair, the walls curved…

There will be a one-day training seminar for the IT Department on October 2, 2010. It will be held in the dual conference room at the Gaylord Convention Center in Maryland. The address is 123 Harbor Blvd. National Harbor, MD 12345 if you need to get directions. Dr. Melanie Dobler will be the guest speaker. The seminar will be held in the Deluxe Convention Room on the first floor. We expect around 150 to 160 people so that room is definitely big enough. Christina Smith said that she can loan us a computer and screen for a PowerPoint presentation. PartyCity Inc. has also loaned tables and chairs for the seminar. We are in need for someone to make photocopies of materials before the seminar so we can send them out so everyone is prepared for the seminar. We also need someone to help with snacks for the two breaks between the two major parts of the seminar. The schedule looks like this so far:…
