Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was very involved in his community as well as others across the United States. He was against racial prejudice and treating a human as if he or she was not connected to society. The Civil Rights leaders including the great Dr. King had the education, skills and the energy to lead his people. He wanted to preserve and really maintain the credibility as they took on each issue at hand.
