The Passion of Christ portrays a powerful visual representation of Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection. However, it is shown in a way that truly shows what he went through during the passion and in a way that shows a deep effect on us. Also the Passion of Christ reveals many of the central truths and symbolic meanings that are described in the scriptures. One example from the movie was the first scene, the agony in the garden. This scene and his suffering shows as proof of God’s love for all of us, especially in the garden Jesus knew what was going to become of him and the fact that he saw all the sins of humanity until the end of time and took all of it upon himself to save us from sin. Another way that this scene displayed his true divinity was when he stood back up even being beaten to near death. This is because he saw both his mother and the devil.
