Virtue theorists believe that virtue ethics consists of more attractive and natural accounts of moral motivation (Yoshikawa, Lecture 4 Aristotle (Virtue Ethics), 2016, p. 3). Mill believes that motivation should be desiring and provide the most happiness for the most people (Yoshikawa, Lecture 4 Aristotle (Virtue Ethics), 2016, p. 3). Kant believes that our motivation should not be from personal inclination, but from the respect of duty (Yoshikawa, Lecture 4 Aristotle (Virtue Ethics), 2016, p. 3).
