The artist I chose is Vincent van Gogh, because he is my favorite artist whose artwork always catches my eye. Van Gogh’s work is known for its beauty, color, and emotion. He influenced the 20th century a lot. Even though for most of his life he was poor and went unknown he continued to create beautiful pieces of artwork. Van Gogh was born in Groot-Zundert, Netherlands on March 30, 1853 and died in France on July 29, 1890 from a self-inflicted gunshot. Van Gogh was influenced by color and light, and Japanese art. He was very passionate about works he would argue with other artist about their works.
