It is a cosmic organization. And it is an organization by the people, of the people and for the people. It is absolutely organic and existential. It is basically built on the very need of the existence. I strongly believe that the very need of the existence has to be the need of every individual. We are all here to fulfill that individual need and in turn fulfill the very need of the existence. We all in our lives have seen and come across many organizational structures. There are organizations that are commercial and profit making. Their very purpose is economic in nature. Their very objective is profit making. There are organizations that are social organizations. Their very objective is to achieve some kind of social objective by helping people who are not well economically. They all are ultimately dependent on the support of the commercial and political organizations in some way. There are organizations that are political in nature. Their very purpose is to assure and ensure good governance to the people of their country. The very word governance is wrong. Who is governing on whom? The whole purpose of the Government is welfare of the society and peace in the society. The whole objective of a Government is to work towards the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The moment there is a gap in the feeling of oneness in the society it may give rise to injustice and depletion of peace in the society and the same may have many other repercussions. The mind and body are the servants of the Soul or Atma. The Atma or Soul is the servant of Parmatma. Just like there are so many families in a nation, in a similar way the Government is a family of the nation. The Governments have to serve its people. Only few servers serve the requests of many more computers. All the efforts of the society should ultimately move towards digital and virtual governance. There are some organizations that are purely devoted to scientific research. All the progress that is there today is due to

Organizations are best defined as an organized body of people on a particular purpose regardless if it is in the business world or a human service field. The significant difference between the two is the concentration of purpose and the nature of the services the organization offers to the community. Human service organizations are unique in the manner in which they are designed to assist the public with a set of services such as, mental health, or child and family services. These organizations operate under the guidelines of a particular mission and other organizations such as schools, courts, jails, and hospitals have primary purposes other than providing human services but they do offer the provision of human services.…

To begin with, any attempt to define a concept requires an investigation into its characteristics. For the term ‘organization’, it is perhaps easier to say what it is not rather than what it is. However, according to Porter, Lawler and Hackman (1975) (quoted in ABE (2010:10), organizations have the following attributes: they are composed of individuals and groups; they have some degree of permanence (they are going concerns); they exist in order to achieve certain goals; and they involve specialization and require rational control and co-ordination.…

All talk about organizations relies on abstract conceptions, using words and their meanings, to make sense systematically of our experience and observations of people doing things together. A great deal of organizational life can be described and, more importantly, sometimes even understood, predicted, and influenced, with abstract ideas about structure and culture. While there is no universal agreement or consistency in definitions of structural and cultural aspects of community organizations, grassroots organizers have some common usage and understandings. Structural features of organization are formal, inflexible (except under special conditions and procedures), created and maintained by documentation, and contingency-centred: they set responsibilities, formal rights, and rewards or punishments on which individual behaviour or group action is contingent. The structure is adopted “officially,” by explicit decision, on the basis of known rules and procedures. It determines how the organization is supposed to operate and for what purposes. Usually we mean by organizational culture those features that are informal, flexible (but often long-lived), created and maintained by word-of-mouth, and ideology-centred: they define good and bad, winning and losing, friends and enemies, etc. The cultural definitions of people, circumstances, events, objects, facts, processes, information, and so on, are essential for organizational decisions and movement.…

Organization implies that a group of individuals come together working, supporting a common goal. Everyone has a role and understands their responsibility in obtaining, achieving the goal. Why do we have organizations? Organizations are the foundation of our being. They give us structure on how to function in our day to day activities and help in achieving the completion of a common goal. They define our role & the importance of our talent/skill to succeed in meeting our objective. By defining everyone’s role, it can maximize production efficiently in completing and meeting the group’s goal. It’s like a long chain that is connected, every link has a function and if there is a defective link it will make an impact on the outcome of goal. Organizations give us order and understanding of how to function on a daily basis. Without organizations we will lose the structure that has been embedded in our environment.…

By definition, “organizations are groups of people who are working interdependently toward some purpose.” (McShane, 2013) pg. 4. Knowing that all people have a different genetic makeup and that organizations are made up of groups of people, it is not had to believe that not all organizations are alike. Henry Mintzberg explains five distinct organizational structures one should consider when determining coordination of an organization; simple structure, machine bureaucracy, professional bureaucracy, divisionalized form, and adhocracy. A non-profit organization can also help in bringing more attention to an important issue in the community in order to create awareness. (Balle). Organization is a social unit which is deliberately constructed and reconstructed to seek specific goals .An organization comes into existence when there are a number of persons in communication and relationship to each other and are willing to contribute towards a common endeavour. The evolution of organization dates back to the early stages of human civilization when two or more persons began to cooperate and combine together for fulfilling their basic needs of food, clothing, shelter and protection of life .Thus, an organization is born when people combine their efforts for some common purpose. It is a universal truth that an individual is unable to fulfil his needs and desire alone because he lacks strength, ability and resources.
