Value Of College
College is very valuable because of all the job opportunities, having higher salaries, and being a positive impact on the environment. Students go to school for 12 years and every year they are told what is coming next. After high school graduation, the decision is in their hands of whether or not they should go to college. If someone chooses to go to college, the 2-4 years might be stressful but it’s worth it. Without a college degree there a big possibility you might struggle more than a college graduate. College is the smartest decision you can make for your future because you are most likely to be successful and more educated. Some people aren’t equipped for college. Rather it’s their ambition or if they are even the average person that is capable of learning, studying, and succeeding. Ones who fail in high school and dropout are less likely to even step in a college or even want the knowledge. Sad to say, that is okay, because we need lower class people that do in fact depend on doctors, lawyers, cops and other professions. Out of either outcome, the desire should lean towards being successful and taking that extra step to better oneself. College is very valuable because of all the job opportunities, having higher salaries, and being a positive impact on the environment.

Many people argue that going to college is either a waste of money or a waste of time because “now a days” it does not matter if you have a degree or not, it is still hard to find a job. I believe this to be different. People who do not go to college are more likely to be unemployed and, therefore, place undue financial strain on society, making a college degree worth it to taxpayers. In my opinion I think that going to college is a great experience to meet new people, learn social skills, and earn a degree which will always pay off in the long run.…

College is a very difficult decision in many people's lives around the world. The stories of Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs show that sometimes college would not be the best idea for some people. Even my father, who dropped out of college, is very successful and supports his family wealthily, while not having to do as much work as most people. However, these successful people went through difficult times and failed much in life, before becoming who they are now. And although there is a great amount of money put into college education at the end the outcome is worth more than the investment.…

“College is a Waste of Time and Money” by Caroline Bird suggests that a college education is forced upon those who attend. As a student you shouldn’t lack the enthusiasm or motivation or it won’t be what you thought it would be. Bird states that those who think that going to college is a way to prepare for your future job are wrong, for there are students who are successful because of their family background. Bird makes valid points in her essay, but it isn’t all true to say that college wastes a student’s money and time and showing that going to college can benefit you in the end by giving you a well-paid job and having knowledge of new skills.…
