I would of stay because only 15% of people died. Only 1,800/12,000 died (doc A). Because 1,800 of 12,000 died and that isn't a lot , it's only 15%. 3,989/8,000 soldiers are sick (doc A) which is 50% .Because 3,989out of 8,000 are sick and they have a chance of living.
I would stay because help is coming . They had a “committee of 5 congressman who stayed weeks helpful in getting more food and clothing to the soldiers”.Congress cares, ”stayed for weeks” so i wouldn't quit. I wouldn't quit because help is on the way.
