I feel the same way as you do with your daughter every time my son has to get a vaccination. I have the knowledge that the vaccine is something that's really good, that it will protect him from an illness or terrible disease, but then there is also that degree of fear about what if he would have a bad side-effect that occurs because of it and I am the one who made the decision for him to receive it. I always try to remind myself that the risk of a side-effect occurring is much less probable than what could happen if he doesn't receive the vaccination and would catch the particular disease that it is to prevent, but as a mom I still am always concerned and worried.
