Use of Cell Phones as Learning Tool
Since technology introduced us to wireless communication, different types of cellular telephones were introduced to the global market by a variety of manufacturers with a fairly commutative price over the years. The continued advances in micro-electronic circuits have recently made the rapid development of mobile and personal communication system possible. Android and IOS platforms allowed business owners, medical personnel, government officials and alike to effectively communicate and make an informed decision despite their geographical locations. However, higher educational institutions seems to ban the use of cell phones inside classrooms regardless of cell phone policies in colleges and universities, but I strongly disagree due to that fact that cell phones can be used as a potential learning tool for success and undoubtedly the best device to own in order to communicate with friends and family.
Now a day, the reality in most schools is that students carry some sort of communication device that give them the flexibility to communicate with their friends, families, professors, lawyers, and alike. The most popular device that can easily perform these tasks is a cellular telephone. According to CBCNEWS, “Cell phones plays a vital roll for college students who are located in urban environments.” Even if the crime rates are low, students may find themselves in situation where they feel unsafe and used their cell phones to call campus security when they feel they need an escort. In real emergency, where students need medical attention, a cell phone could prove lifesaving. Moreover, most cell phones have a built-in camera that allows users to take pictures anywhere.
The college experience is one of the most memorable in most students’ lives, so capturing their memories is important. Cell phones can also send photographs to an email address or another cell phone, so students can share their experiences with their parents and friends. Making social connection is as

Having the curriculum at a student's fingertips, adds so much more than the textbook could possibly provide the student with.
