1.1 Explain what reflective practice is:

reflective practice is a process by which you stop and think about your practice, consciously analyse your decision making and draw on theory and relate it to what you do in practice.

1.3 Explain how standards inform reflective practice in adult social care:

codes of practice explain the way you should be working, you can use them to think about the way you work and compare them to your work and decide if you need to make any adjustments they enable us to gain professional developments and provide a way to identify good working practices.

2.1 Explain how people may react and respond to receiving constructive feedback:

constructive feedback is feedback that is helpful some people may not like feedback that they are given and choose to ignore it, others may take on board what been said and improve on the areas of there work that related to the feedback given.

2.2 Explain the importance of seeking feedback to improve practice and inform development:

sets up targets and the person knows what to improve on gets the person motived and focused help identify weaknesses and strengths helps make relationships between manager and worker depending on how feedback was given and received encourages a learning environment reduces uncertainty provides confidence

2.3 Explain the importance of using feedback in improving own practices:

the importance of using feedback so that people know where they are going wrong and using different ways to improve on areas of work that need adjustments, feedback is also good as people can understand if they done something correctly its a way off telling someone they have done good and be positive about there work so feedback can be good and bad really.
