The unique revelation of Jesus Christ is the most convincing argument because it states who Jesus Christ is. The article states, “that we can conclude from Jesus’ teachings that Jesus Christ is God, that Jesus Christ is the message of the Bible, and that the Bible is the Word of God.” (Page 3, Arguments that the Bible is the Word of God) This is a powerful statement because man could not have created the Bible rationally. That’s why God spoke through man. “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” 2 Timothy 3:16.
Furthermore, the unique revelation of Jesus Christ is the most convincing argument because “Jesus had an appeal to all nations.”(Page 3, Arguments that the Bible is the Word of God). This is a self-revelation that Jesus was the Son of God. This backs up the argument because it’s unique enough to point that the Bible is the Word of God. I have seen this the most through several mission trips that I have been on. Even when there is a language or cultural barrier, Jesus Christ is universal.

The Bible has authority in it as being the word of God. The authority the Bible comes from God that is given to the people by an inspiration and revelation by the power of the Holy Spirit from God. God said in His word that He is the Great I Am. Inspiration is nothing more than a revelation, or shall I say, a mere comforting and confirming word from God. As it states in John 16:33 "I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace, in this would you will have trouble. But take heart; I have overcome the world." I do not find any of the traditional proofs for God’s existence persuasive, and I will go over each argument one at a time to explain why I do not find them persuasive, starting with Anselm’s ontological argument, then Aquinas’ cosmological argument, and finally Paley’s teleological argument.
