[THE PROPHETHOOD & ITS RELEVANCE TO THE MUSLIM LIFE] UNGS 2030

God has created no community of beings in the world without a purpose and left them without a guide or leader. It is inconceivable that God Almighty, Who has not left bees without a queen, ants without a leader, and birds and fish without a guide, has left humanity without Prophets to guide them to spiritual, intellectual and material perfection. 5.1 PROPHETHOOD
 The centrality of prophethood is evident from the fact that it forms the content of the second clause of the Shahadah (testimony).

The Islamics had many great achievements but I think their greatest one was building a trade route through their empire. Muslims were able to make such great contributions because they were open minded and had a high tolerance for different cultures. Because of this, they got to learn from the different countries they took over such as Greece, Rome, and India. They had so many different ideas and all that knowledge led to them making great achievements that lasted and made an impact on the world. Islamics had quite a few achievements in math. One being, as stated in Document 1, that they relied on mathematicians to calculate prayer times and also the direction of the Mecca. Both of these were very important to them because their culture was…

Particularly intriguing to me is the means by which Armstrong's dispute that the researchers of Torah trusted that they were not just finding out about prophecy. Likewise, they themselves worked as prophets, that by their exegesis by making the importance of Scripture. All things considered, prophets now and then perform and translate dreams and visions. Moreover, the individuals who find new significance for the ancient writings cause and bring to life the Scriptures for another era (Armstrong, 2007).…

The Book of the twelve Minor Prophets is more than a collection of miscellaneous prophetic materials. The twelve books of the Minor Prophets function as a unified literary work. The trend in modern biblical scholarship is to treat the Book of the Twelve as twelve distinct prophetic compositions that have relatively little to do with each other apart from having been placed in the same collection. Despite these claims, the literary work of the twelve Minor Prophets remains a multifaceted composition that functions in concert in all Jewish and Christian versions of the Bible. The unity of the book plays out simultaneously as a single prophetic book and as a collection of twelve individual prophetic books revealing overriding elements of unity that if carefully examined would lead to a better understanding of the Old Testament.…

In 570 AD a man to be by the Islamic people as the last prophet was born into the world; his name was Muhammad. Muhammad was born into a poor family in Mecca, but spent most of his childhood being raised by Bedouin relatives in a different town after he was orphaned at the age of six. His uncle Abu Talib brought him under his wing and taught him to be a successful merchant. When Muhammad was about twenty years old he moved into Mecca and began trading for widow named Khadijah. Through the next five years Khadijah became aware of how reliable and resourceful Muhammad was and proposed marriage to him when he was twenty-five. Through his travels Muhammad became very aware of the clan rivalries and the undermining forces among the tribes. He soon became distracted and unsatisfied with his life. In 610 he retreated to a cave above Mecca to meditate and fast. While he was there the angel Gabriel appeared to him and gave him a message from God, “There is no god but Allah.”…
