AN EXPLANATION OF CHILD PROTECTION WITHIN THE WIDER CONCEPT OF SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE.
Within my setting are many policies that work in junction with the main current legislations and guide lines of safeguarding children and young people and are made available to everyone within the setting including all parent’s and carer’s thus allowing all the needs of the children to be met and understood by all involved.(Continued on page 2)

Within my setting we work with the children, parents/carer’s and the community to ensure the rights and safety of children and to give them the very best start in life. Our safe guarding policy is based on the three key commitments of the pre-school learning alliance safeguarding children policy
