As humans, losing weight and weight loss is a struggle many of us have encountered in life. We strive to achieve the body we have perceived as perfect and often times, including myself, have failed numerously at this goal. I have been there and done that, from Weight Watchers meals, to earnestly trying and going to the gym nearly every day, and even just skipping certain meals. To a certain extent all of these routines have worked for me, but not enough to keep going as I have stopped doing a lot of these activities; due to not keeping up with myself and every day eventually became a cheat day, where I would indulge in foods I know I shouldn’t have and not workout. As individuals, certain tasks and goals can become overbearing and can seem impossible to accomplish, but as a…

Many people who develop eating disorders start out participating in a diet by changing their eating and exercise habits. Eating disorders develop when the habits they establish throughout their diet become an obsession that is very difficult to stop. I think it is great that we have Writepoint as a tool for or college papers. Writpoint points out and recognizes errors that are most commonly made. I really like how this tool suggests comments and possible changes to the paper whether it is toward grammar and style. When I received my feedback from Writepoint on my Effective Persuasion paper I notice that there can be correction made to it. Taking in the comments and suggestions now will better my writing in the future. The first mistake starts in the beginning on my paragraph. I am not aware when I am writing in a passive voice. At the beginning of my sophomore year in high school, I became unhappy with my appearance. Food was my best friend. I used it to cope with my emotions, usually ice cream or a chocolate bar did the trick. Whenever I went into the doctor for a regular check-up, she told me I was overweight which caused me to have high blood pressure. Whether it was looking at a magazine, on vacation, or on television, I always saw a fit, trim, muscular people.…
