Tuition Class: Pro and Cons
Nowadays, many students too depend on the tuition classes to achieve good results in examination. However, not all of them can pass their examination with flying colours. Several reasons why going to tuition classes are not too important to achieve good result in examination because it is too tiring after long hours in school, less time for leisure and recreation but on the other hand, it can also fill up free time meaningfully.
For many students, tuition classes are too tiring after long hours in school. This is because some of them come back late from school after attending extra classes that are provided by the school. Due to tiredness, they are unable to focus on further learning session. At this time, their eyes and brain doesn’t function well. Eventually, they will be sleepy in the tuition class that they are attending to. Once they are sleepy, they are unable to cap the knowledge that delivered by the tutor. Consequently, the students get nothing from that except wasting time and money. Last but not least, too tired may lead to pressure and failure on certain subjects. As students, we need to get some rest after lessons at school so that our brain will function properly.
In addition, attending tuition classes will affect student’s leisure and recreation time. If they go to tuition classes at evening, they’re unable to do sport activities such as jogging, playing football and other recreation activities with family and friends. As we know, the healthy mind depends on the healthy body. So, to maintain the strong and healthy mind, we need to spend at least 2 times per week to exercise. As students are too busy with the tuition classes, they don’t have much time to take good care of their health. Furthermore, students will lost their interest as they have less leisure time compared to students who don’t attend tuition classes. Consequently, lack of interest due to less leisure time can cause students bored and frustrated.

On the other hand, we can’t deny

Student Life Redefined Indisputable in today’s civilization, it has become unmistakable that the equilibrium of time spent on students’ social, emotional, physical, and academic life is categorically corrupted—an overload of assignments and activities for students often causes a lack of energy and inadequate spare time, many times leading to superabundant stress. Steven Guzman, a twelve year old, runs the same routine every day: He wakes up, goes to school, does homework, and sleeps, with no time for anything else but to eat. The author goes on giving solid information from examinations about extended school hours and time tired out from sports. Students pretty much experience the same time crunch as their parents. Additionally, nearly all children are now also losing free or play time, which could cause harmful effects in the future.…

Humans are naturally programmed to have to rely on sleep for energy throughout the day. However, as school times become earlier and earlier, it is evident that students turn to other sources of energy such as caffeine and energy drink to keep them awake throughout the day. Allowing students to replace their sleep with other forms of energy in the long run, can lead to obesity or depression and also challenges students to keep a balanced diet which is essential to a healthy lifestyle. Because of this, early high school start times have been labeled the reason for poorer academic performances as well as negative health effects. According to Julie Boergers, Ph.D., a Psychology and sleep expert, “It is well-known that sleep deprivation is common among teens, with potentially serious impacts on mental and physical health, safety and learning. ‘Early high school start times contribute to this problem’”(Boergers). She also mentions that if schools attempt to change the times to match students natural sleep patterns which is staying up late and waking up later in the day, “‘we will have students who are more alert, happier, better prepared to learn, and [who] aren’t dependent on caffeine and energy drinks just to stay awake in class’”(Boergers) Pederson highlights through these quotes, that many students depending on quick and easy unhealthy sources of energy to stay awake in class negatively affects the…
