a) I take notes through writing as opposed to typing on my laptop as I feel I will remember the material a lot better. I read the material thoroughly then skim read to make notes of the areas I need to focus on. I have bought a project book which comes with dividers allowing me to organise my notes for each block and the parts of each block I study.
