Puerto Azul Restaurant, in San Jose, serves fresh and tantalizing Mexican cuisine with a California twist in its charming and friendly eatery. For starters, enjoy the chorizo con queso cheesy dip with Mexican sausage and the quesadilla Puerto Azul stuffed with cheese and shrimp, both of which are great to share. Some of Puerto Azul Restaurant’s house specialty entrées include the pork chile verde in a tangy tomatillo sauce, the breaded steak Milanese con papas and the beef, chicken and shrimp molcajete en mole sauce with grilled nopales. Other favorite dishes include the more traditional Mexican fare, such as the beef and cheese deep-fried chimichanga, the shrimp enchiladas de camaron topped with Mexican sauce and avocado and the crispy chicken…
We want to Cancun, Mexico. The very first day we flew into Cancun, Mexico on the American Airlines. We stayed at the Paradisus Cancun. The total cost of the flight and hotel all together was $648. Our hotel is so cool it has free wifi, free food, and a pool. The first night we went there we went and ate at The 5 senses it is a popular tourist spot because it has, live music and a club next door. On the second day we were in Cancun, Mexico we got up early to go snorkeling in the ocean. We went out with Scuba Diving Cancun company, a really good company for taking snorkeling trips. It only cost us $130. We really enjoyed it and saw many extoic fish. Than we decided to go to Playa Delfines beach it is a favorite beach in the town we are staying…

Naturally, the beaches are the biggest draw in Cancun with their soft, white sand and brilliant turquoise-blue water. Cancun's Hotel Zone is really just one long beach separated from the mainland by a system of lagoons.…
The Eagles formed in 1971 when Don Henley and Glenn Frey decided to form a band and brought on musicians Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. They were signed to Asylum Records in September 1971. In 1974, guitarist Don Felder joined the band. A year later, Bernie Leadon left the band and was replaced by Joe Walsh. Joe Walsh plays keyboard, Don Felder plays the mandolin, Don Henley plays guitar, Glenn Frey plays guitar, and Randy Meisner plays guitar. All of the members of the band were singers, and there was no lead vocalist.…
We have reached the city of Tenochtitlan. I realize it has been quite a long time since you have heard from me. Don Cortes and his soldiers have been circling the coast and the city of Tenochtitlan waiting for a chance to come in. During this past year Don Cortes has been making allies of the Montezuma’s enemies. He seeks to start an uprising, but he wishes to see the city first.…
If the United States decided to become a true empire tomorrow, the best decision would be to invade another powerful nation first. However, considering that the military is smaller than in previous years, this may prove to be a challenge. Therefore, the alternative would be invading nations close to home and gaining territory.…
There are so many places and things you could do with one ticket. With a ticket in my hand I would choose to go to Barbuda. I have chosen Barbuda due to the conditions all the people on the island were left in after Hurricane Irma came and swept through. 95% of the buildings and homes on the island were destroyed and will cost around $100 million to fix everything. Barbuda is also in the path of Hurricane San Jose and the island is trying to flee the other 1,800 people that haven’t yet fled. One hurricane already did major destruction to this island, just imagine what a second one would do. The people have already lost their homes, and now they will have to settle somewhere new because there is nothing left on…
“WAKE UP!” Screamed my brother in to my ear. “Owwww” I said But soon realized we were going to MEXICO!…
If I had the choice to choose any Spanish speaking country to visit, it would be Costa Rica. I chose Costa Rica because of its natural beauty, landscapes and wild life. There are so many other things that I can only began to imagine regarding Costa Rica. Costa Rica is located in Central America, and is located between the countries of Nicaragua and Panama. The entire country is surrounded by water with the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other side. Making it a beautiful place. I would absolutely love to get married in Costa Rica! As of right now Costa Rica is my wedding destination.…
Have you ever been to some place that was more of where you wanted to be but also didn’t want to be at some point of time? Try taking a vacation somewhere you have never been. When I was fifteen years old, I went on a vocational trip to Tuscan, Arizona with my favorite uncle and his amazingly cool wife. We attended many different things and went to many different places. I also got to ride on the tall mountain which at that point was a cool thing. There were some things that made me unhappy and some that made me dramatically excited.…
The dictionary defines a vacation as a period of time to pause from work, study, or additional activities. Also can be defined as a time period for relaxation, leisure, recreation, or traveling. Now as the definition for vacation suggests, a vacation can be idealized in two different practices. One method a person who is considering on taking a vacation where they can relax, might possibly consider a luxurious vacation to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Formerly the contrasting style of vacation would be an exhilarating and adventurous one, like backpacking through the Arizona National Scenic Trail.…
One of the first instances that I can remember concerning cultural shock, was when I took a Western Caribbean cruise with friends. I was naïve and in my early twenties, traveling with three other females for spring break. We spent three days on the beaches of FL, and then took a four-day cruise that stopped at multiple Latin American destinations.…
I read everything I can about the Mexico-America border. I'm slightly obsessed with it- partially due to the first trip I spent in Mexico, where we studied border issues in depth. It's not really fair to speak of Mexico without the context of the United States and/or the border, and honestly, it's not really fair to talk about the United States without talking about Mexico. A whole lot of us (me included) live in what used to be Mexico (now referred to by people in the Chicano Movement as "Aztlan"), which was surrendered/taken/stolen by the US after the Spanish/American war in 1848. (See this dramatic map). It's a whole lot of white/colonial/American privilege that most people in el norte don't even know about this. And much more recently, a whole lot of incredibly destructive policies have created a push/pull situation where Mexican are both enticed to the United States and forced to look elsewhere for their income. This isn't a history lesson, so I'm not going to discuss all of these factors, or the US policy's…
So, taking all things into consideration, I'd want to go to Barcelona with the people I love, and visit many famous tourist spots and enjoy being in the sun and getting a tan on beautiful beache. After having fun on the beach, I'd like to eat delicious Spanish food for dinner.…
