Trip of My Dreams
The Trip of My Dreams
It all began in a small and beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea named Puerto Rico. My name is Ricardo and I study in the University of Cayey in Puerto Rico .This story is about one particular dream that I got one day very especial, but at the end I realize something that changed my life in many different ways. I was driving through a very bad weather to my house were tree falls and rain block my view of the road. In the middle of the way to my house I saw a rare guy with white clothes that salute me and smile. It was there that my dream began.
The sunny day of a Wednesday makes me feel amazing and prepare for that day in the university. I get up, eat my breakfast and take all the stuff to begin my journey to that day. When I get to the university I saw all my friends on the classroom. Entered to the room where anybody is looking and when I looked I feel like if I doesn’t exist. I start to get panic because I can’t even touch anyone of them. Then a girl with a red dress came to me and told me that I was dead because I got an accident in the car the day that the weather was really bad. We start talking and all the things that she said to me don’t make any sense because that day I came to my house and start eating with my family.
It was there where I start looking for all the details to know what really happen that moment in the car. I feel like I was alive because there was something in my head that keep telling me that. I take my car and went to the part of the road where the little girl told I die in that

The sky was nice and clear. It wasn’t too hot or too cold. It was perfect. It was a typical third grade day. My friends and I were in recess, goofing around, having fun. We sat on the benches and joked around. Next thing I knew my friend was on my back and I was carrying him around. Not aware of my surroundings, I tripped over a bench, closed my eyes, braced for impact, and fell face first into the dirt. I got up feeling dazed and the first thing I hear is a scream. Confused, I looked over to my friend and her face was a mixture of scared and shocked. I saw friends run to the restroom to get me paper towels, but others told me to go to the office. As I walked to the office, I began to feel pain in my lip. I walked into the office speechless.…

My story begins at just the age of 8, we just had moved to a South Texas town, Kountze, this town had about 2,000 to 3,000 people residing in it. My parents had decided this was the perfect place to raise me and my brother who is two years older than me. I didn’t understand much then, but from what I can remember the only problems I had was what flavor of ice cream I wanted when my father took me to the ice cream shop and which Disney channel show was on. But then, as I thought things were just fine, On one summer night I heard noises in my parents’ bedroom and I overheard my favorite hero crying in the bedroom and saying he needed to tell us something terrible had happened. As he sat me down on his lap and told me that grandfather had passed away. My grandfather had been diagnosed with lung cancer shortly after he came from India to America too visit us. My father had to take him back to India when they found out he diagnosed. I sat there not understanding what had happened and hearing my hero in tears for the first time. It was one of first of many forms of tragedy I have had to witness as I thought nothing could shake my father but at this moment I realized I was wrong and got scared, this moment had changed my whole…

During breakfast they announced to us that we would be doing things different that day. We all needed to return to our cabins as soon as we finished eating and put on tennis shoes, sun block, to bring a lot of water. After we all did that we met at the circle and they told us that we were climbing a mountain as a bonding experience. So they put us in groups of three with people in our cabins, but the task was for us to bond with someone that we didn’t know. We started our journey and coincidentally my group had gotten stuck behind a group of girls from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Now none of knew these girls, but I did know that one of them had given me a dirty look at lunch the day before so I wasn’t too thrilled about walking by them. We were all having a nice walk until about half way up the mountain it had gotten really steep. It was like trying to walk up a gravel wall. Everyone on my group successfully made it up, and two people form their group did but for some reason the girl who gave me a dirty look was having trouble. She just couldn’t get up there. Everyone in her group had walked up ahead so I was forced to help her. As I was standing there everything inside of me was telling me not to help her, but I had to think about what if that was me. So I couldn’t jus let her stay down there, so I helped her. We walked up the rest of the mountain together. We talked and I came to find out that she was a really nice…

I have a lot of things I’d like to have differently, and i can do a cliche scholarship about change or i can share and elaborate on one of my dreams. I have a reoccurring dream where i go to the corner of a street (usually one that i drive on a lot) and enter a pet store. I walk into the pet store and sometimes it feels like i'm walking on a baggage claim belt. When i finally get into the pet store, it is closed and they throw me in one of those big trash cans because i just want to pet the fish. When i land in the trash can i start falling into a deep deep dark pit of mystery and curiosity. When I land, I land in a fishbowl as a fish. I guess I’m pretty calm about being turned into a fish. I start swimming around the bowl a find things from…

On May 1, 2014, my grandmother, Phuong Tran, passed away because of a stroke. We were so close and I usually stayed in her house while my parents were in their business trip. The days before her death, there were no signs of sickness. She did her daily jobs as usual. We also made some cookies with her new recipe. The day she dies, in that morning, I asked her if I could hang out with my cousins and come home at night. And, when I came home, I saw her sleep on the couch, I woke her up to ask if she wanted to go to her bedroom and realized she is dead. I called 911, but it was too late; the stroke took her away from me. After her death, I denied the truth and blamed myself for what I happened. Whenever I think about that day, I was depressed…

She has dots and she is super red and sweaty. So we drove to find a hospital But as we got there my sister died so it was just me. The youngest one out of everybody that was in my family. I didn’t know what to do now. I was only thinking about death. I was thinking that why can’t I die first. I got so mad I screamed so loud that I made a window crack. I was punching anything I saw. I even punched the ground. I made my hand bleed. But I was so mad that why can’t I be the first one to go. Why couldn’t I be dead when my sister died. I don’t know what to do know. All I know now that i’m alone. That I might be the only one on earth. But then I thought that i’m not the only one on earth. I can’t be the only one earth. So I drove thinking this disease can’t kill the whole world. So I found a place that is pretty decent. So I went inside of it and out of nowhere a person came out of a room. It was a girl and she had a gun. She had it on my head as she was asking me who am I and where am I from. I told her that i’m from New York. But I did not tell her my name. She put the gun down and I asked her what is she doing here. She said,”I’m here because my family died and know i’m alone.” I told her that my family died and I asked if she has another gun I can use. She said she did and she gave me the gun. But then a man that was dying was running and pushed the girl out a window. So then I was alone again and I just waited for someone to find…

This dream of mine is split into the three scenes. In the first scene, I am in the center of Boston with Serbian friend who goes to Boston University. In the midst of a leisurely walk, all of a sudden, an alien ship starts approaching from the sky. It is still on its approach, but I could see it coming. At that point, some people on the streets begin to panic, but others seem to disregard this extraordinary event and continue on with their lives. In the next scene, we are still in Boston. My friend and I enter a café, and inside it, my father is sitting at one of the tables. As we are sitting down with him, my friend and my father tell me that I have to sit elsewhere because they have more people coming and there is no space for me to sit with them. Somewhat discouraged, I go and sit down at another table alone. In the third and final scene, I see this beautiful panoramic view of a forest where the tops of the tree are all I am able to focus on. In the background - beyond the treetops - a spectacular sunrise begins to happen. Attracted to the beauty of nature, I manage to put myself into a giant bubble and slowly begin drifting towards that sunrise. Suddenly, the bubble pops, and as I am falling down into the forest, I wake up.…

In the meantime, I carried the fear of unknown further because everything was unpredictable. How is the ASU? How is the class? How is my dorm room? How is my room? How is class? All the thing about the collage could not stop running through my brain. After 16 hours, I finally arrive at AZ. The first feeling when I…

My dream had begun on a deserted shore. After a while, I was able to find a little cottage that belonged to a fisherman. I needed from him a boat in order to get to an island (it looked like a great mountain that was rising from the water and was covered with snow). All of a sudden, I sat in the boat with four of my roommates as well as with my father and grandfather. However, only then have we found out that we do not have enough food to get to that island, so we turned our boat back to the harbor. Upon our return, we had gone into a forest that was covering almost all of the land that we were able to see. After a period of time, the length of which I was not able to determine, we have found an arbor and there were many deer running around it. But instead of shooting any of them, I shot an old ugly pig with six bullets. That was the end of my dream. The next day in the morning I wrote it down as soon as I woke up.…

Road tripping is supposed to be fun and exciting. It gives me an opportunity to jump in the car and explore something new. In the summertime 2008 when I got my 99’ Dodge Intrepid back from the previous accident, I begun my road trip to Yellowstone National Park in early morning. As I drove down the road, I soon realized that I had never been anywhere alone before. This was a new feeling for me, one of strength and fear rolled into one. My trip was nerve wrecking because I faced a certain problems with my car that I have never experienced before, but it taught me a lot about how to maintain my car.…
