Abstract
According to the text, there are a number of key trends in the workplace that have significant influences on organizations. HR professionals play a key role in helping organizations respond to evolving trends, comply with federal and state regulations, and manage workplace flexibility.
As an HR professional it is important for you to demonstrate your understanding of the ever changing global environment. Specify the key functional areas of Human Resources Management. Explore the manner in which each function contributes to the overall performance of organization. Support your response with specific examples of the activities for which HRM is typically responsible.
The responsibilities of a human resource manager are to develop a thorough knowledge of corporate culture, plans, and policies, act as an consultant, initiate change, act as a facilitator, keep communication lines open for personnel, diagnose problems and determine an appropriate solution, and more(whatishumanresoure). Some of the key functional areas of Human Resources
Management is analyzing and designing jobs, benefits, training and development, compliance with laws and employee relations. A job analysis is the process of getting information about jobs

This area is helps with recruiting new employees it entails the tasks that will be performed, whether there is a certain amount of weight that you might be lifting, or list if the job requires long amount of standing. The textbook states, that the pay and benefits that employees earn play an important role in motivating them (2014, p.9). HR personnels are responsible for keeping up with each employee’s wages and health plans while keeping in compliance with labor
