Travelling Is a Good Hobby That Everyone Should Cultivate. If You Are Given a Chance, Tell About Places That You Would Most Likely Visit.
Travelling is often claimed as a fun pastime. As the world develops, more and more people are able to travel. It is not surprising that millions around the world spend their holidays travelling. Travelling expands and broadens our impression and knowledge about other continents, countries, modern cities and of course, helps us to take a break from our hectic way of living. There are tonnes of great places to visit around the world. Each place has its own personal touch and uniqueness. Everyone has a place that they want to visit in life. As for me, the greatest desire of my life is to visit Europe, one of the most prosperous and unique continents in the world. Europe owns the world’s most diverse civilization, which makes up an astonishing cultural heritage. There are thousands of world heritage sites on this continent just on the tip of its iceberg.
I would personally love to visit the United Kingdom. I have learned about the United Kingdom from textbooks but I would love to experience it in reality. United Kingdom is the most wealthy and powerful country in the world. It is known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain as people use to address it as the UK. Besides, it is one of the world’s leading trade and financial hub, with a thriving economy. The western part of the region is known for being cold and cloudy during winter while the other part is mostly windy and rainy because it is influenced by the ocean, which I love the most.
It would be thrilling to witness one of the biggest cities, like London, the country’s capital. London is well known for its classy architectures. Furthermore, it is a place where Shakespeare’s sonnets are still being brought to life by stage actors. Moreover, I would love to go to London because of its vibrant living environment. London has many attractions. One of the must visit popular tourist attraction is the ‘London Eye’. The locals call this iconic structure as the landmark of the new millennium. Passengers can

Firstly, I would treasure visiting England because I would travel to London, the capital of England and is considered to be one of the most sophisticated places in the world. Another cousin of mine got to study abroad there and has “mastered the art” of observing the whole city in two days! I would also love to tour the Beatles museums and walk down Abbey Road because their music is as beautiful as one’s childhood. Secondly, I would want to journey England on my European adventure is because I would travel to the primary beach town in England, Brighton. Brighton would be an incredible place to go because not only do they have a beach, but they have charming shops and restaurants that are widely known all throughout England. The final place I would visit in England while on my Europe trip is the city of Oxford. This city would be so pleasant to go to because of their college, Oxford University, which is one of my dream colleges. C.S. Lewis’ house is also present where you can explore the house and examine where he wrote his most widespread series, Narnia. As a result, my respect for England and my yearning to go there brings me back to my desire to travel through…

One of the advantages of travel is that it broadens the mind or, in other words, broadens an individual’s life experiences. In addition, the exposure to a another part of your own country or a foreign country allows you to reexamine your life and to reassess your way of thinking. Another advantage, in the case of foreign travel, is that it is a reason for learning a foreign language. Learning a foreign language provides you with both intellectual stimulation and a means of understanding a foreign culture. Through being able to communicate in a foreign language, this opens up new doors for you – you can meet a whole variety of different people. Travel can also help you get back to your roots. For people whose parents or grandparents were immigrants, travelling to the land where their forefathers came from allows them to understand their origins and, thus, to understand their place in history. Finally, travel enables you to see some of the famous tourist spots and landmarks in the world which, otherwise, would only be experienced second hand through books and the Internet.…

London, the capital of the United Kingdom, is one of modern cities in the world. There are rich art and culture matters in London. It often draws my attention with its theaters, museums, and art galleries. I often listen to the musical, The Phantom of the Opera, on the radio and dream that I could go to the theater to take pleasure in the musical. Not only the musical, but also the numbers of museums and galleries in London attract me. Take the famed museum, the British Museum, for example. I could see many historical heritages gathering from all over the world there. Moreover, London has a good public transportation system, underground and double-deck bus. I could go any places via the convenient underground and do sightseeing by bus. In my opinion, London is not just the capital of the United Kingdom, but a wonderful city worthy to visit.…

And I’d like to advise you some places to visit as I spent a lot of time reading about this ancient city. As you know, London is divided into 32 boroughs and the City. From another hand it is divided into 4 main sections: the City, the West End, the East End and the South Bank. If you want to see the ancient edifices and to enjoy the beauty of history, you should go to the City. The City of London is the historical heart of London. This area was already a bustling trading post almost 2000 years ago, when it was a part of the Roman empire. Many of the irregular streets still follow the ancient Roman roads. Plenty of historic landmarks attest to the City's storied past. The most famous is the domed St. Paul's Cathedral, built in the 17th century by Sir Christopher Wren. And also you can find there the Guildhall, a beautiful early 15th century edifice that was reconstructed in the 17th century in a neo-Gothic style. And also you’ll enjoy the aspects of Royal Exchange Building and the Monument. But the City is not only about the ancient buildings. You’ll find there well-known modern building as the Lloyd's of London, designed by Richard Rogers, the architect of the Centre Pompidou in Paris. A more recent, but equally remarkable(некрасиво:(( ) tower in the City is Barbican 30 St. Mary Axe, commonly known as the Gherkin.…
