TRAINING IS A MUST

With the twenty-first century, people wonder what is the key of success because the population of world has reached 7 billion, therefore it is possible to see an increase competition among people, especially countries. As related with this some people think that successful people have talents and their talents come from genetic factors. However; unlike the opponents’ belief, it is possible to become a successful person with following strategies, motivators and styles.

One of the most logical ways of achieving success is determination strategies because following plan always helps people regularly and first step is learning from failure. All people make mistakes, this is very natural for human beings and failures seem to be lights in a dark tunnel. What I mean here is that we can find the right way by making mistakes; it is the main reason why we need to make mistakes and learn from failure. Another strategy of achieving success is training and hardworking. People start take education from born to death, it continues during life and thanks to training, people gain some abilities. It is possible to say that even if we have some talents at birth, we should support and shape our talents with education. To give an example of this, there are many cast agencies all over the world and these agencies intend to catch the people who have limited acting abilities and make them a star by training them. If these agencies did not service, we would not know Hollywood stars such as Will Smith; “I met with a director when I was teenage and he sent me to his agency. At first, I could not accustom but today, I owe to him because I had an Oscar” (Smith, 2009). It is clear from this statement and this example that basic talents can become amazing qualities with training. In brief, people should be aware of the importance of training and hardworking to achieve success.

Motivators are one of the important helpers to reach success because motivators accelerate the boring process so, people are protected from giving up and they always feel positive. There are two main motivator types, positive and negative. It is said that negative motivators are more effective because people feel more ambitious. Harry Helmsley laughs and says that “When you do not have any money you have got plenty of drive” (Helmsley, 51) when the question is asked him that “What gave you your drive?” There are some examples from real life and these examples can prove this statement. Steve Jobs, was the CEO of Apple and also very clever man according to most of us, had to give up university education because he did not have enough money to sustain his life so he gave up his education and started to work. However, he never gave up his dreams and he started to create Apple, most popular technology company in the world. He had to give up his education but he created a trend. Today, plenty of people use iPhone or iPad. And also he found Pixar Animation Studio at his last ages so that produce animation films. The world has this type of numerous examples that we know famous CEOs, managers, businessmen, investors who is suffered from poverty and became very successful people. As a result, there is no doubt that negative motivators such as poverty, make people ambitious and patient during their life.
Some people are not able to determine strategy or take education because of poverty or some bad conditions. In this point, some styles can be life saver because people may think that they do not have an option. Role models are available for this type of conditions. People start to follow their role models since childhood. Role models are inevitable at every age. Generally, this style can be useful because we always follow successful people as role models, in other words example. No one wants to follow or trace the unsuccessful or lazy people, it is sounds crazy. Sting supports this statement with this comment that “If you role-play being a thinker then you will become a thinker” (Sting, 54). What I mean here is that following successful people, in other words role models can carry us to top of mountain; this is another logical way to achieve success. Alan Fine says that “Some people are very good at it and others are not” (Fine, 56). Also he defends that people should follow others who are successful and with this style, it is possible to achieve success. In short, copying role model’s style can be useful and we can right our mistakes thanks to role models.

As we see, there are numerous ways to achieve success and people can choose one which is suitable for them. However; there is no doubt that training and hardworking strategy is the most significant option to achieve success contrary to people, who defend that success come from inborn, because training and hardworking improves people to a great extent. To exemplify; if we take statistics of Cambridge University into account, students take proficiency exam at entrance so that their ability and IQ level are measured. According to the statistics 20 percent of students are untalented and 20 percent of students are enough to shape and become successful. 60 percent of students are moderate. However, Cambridge University is known to be one of the best universities all over the world. We can infer from this example that training and hardworking enables people to improve significantly. We can imitate Cambridge University as a factory which takes raw materials and takes out useful products. Some people have talents in born or they have high level of IQ, but even if they have some potential powers, they have to realize their abilities. I mean, without training, some talents stay just as a potential power. As related with this, there is a Turkish anonym proverb that “Training is a must!” In brief, Training can be the real key of success for ever.

All in all, people have many options to follow and achieve success. In this point, the most important thing is making decision which way is more suitable for your character. If you choose a valuable way, you can achieve the success without loss of time and it works properly. Unlike the other ways, training and hardworking provides golden opportunities for people who have aims because as people neglect the importance of training and hardworking, they will have to pay a compensation with their own time.

People born with natural talent hardly ever face challenges regarding the category they are proficient in. Imagine an academically gifted child, who decides to learn how to play the cello. This child quickly becomes frustrated with the advanced techniques and skills they are required to learn but cannot grasp, and quits altogether. Nothing was learned from this failure, the child did not retain any information they were taught regarding the cello. In the first paragraph of “Adversity: An Opportunity to Choose Growth” a nonfiction article by Camille Preston, Ph.D, PCC, it asks the rhetorical question:”What will [someone] do to turn adversity into a learning opportunity?” Few people turn mistakes into opportunities to grow as a person. Instead, they turn from one thing to the next, giving up every time they fail. Isn’t it best for people to stick to what they’re good at, in order to avoid getting hurt? Of course, some people claim to be “untalented”, but everyone enjoys doing something important to them - perfect at it or not. Being content with life is the end goal, and if someone has failed often enough to be dissatisfied with their life, it was not a happy life they lived. To quote Thomas Edison: “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” Obviously, if someone does not succeed, they…

However, in order to attain success, hard work is still much more important. As skills can be learned, through hard work, we are possibly able to gain new essential skills that we are not born with.
