Tragic Heroes Fair And Foul In Shakespeare's Macbeth
Tragic heroes are both fair and foul. Macbeth’s story starts off fair, with all of the battles he wins and the recognition he gets from Duncan, but it goes downhill fast as he becomes a tragic hero. The biggest reasons for his downfall are his ambition and hubris. The idea of becoming King and his wife manipulating him get him into a big mess, but instead of stopping, he continues until it’s too late. He also gains so much confidence and pride that he thinks no one can harm him. People in the current world can also get carried away with their fatal flaw and hubris. It’s important to learn from mistakes and not let ambition or another fatal flaw take over. People should stand up for what they believe is right and not let anyone manipulate them.
