Traffic Accidents
The world of today has a lot of accidents for many reasons, such as car accidents, fire accidents, or water accidents. Accidents are very common in big cities as there are many modes of transport and road are narrow and overcrowded. We hear of them and read about them in newspapers almost daily. There are few causes of traffic accidents.
In Malaysia, one of the surest means of putting into practice the "Rakyat Diutamakan" (People First) policy of our prime minister is through making it safer for our motorcyclists and pillion riders to travel daily on dedicated lanes, away from hazards posed by cars and trucks. For a country with 28 million people, Malaysia's rate of road fatalities is very high by any standard. Just imagine over 65,000 people die in road accidents in any 10-year period in this country, enough to fill our biggest football stadium, the National Stadium at Bukit Jalil.
First, people can cause traffic accidents because some people do not know how fast they are driving their car. For example, most teenagers have this situation. In some cases, in Korea the men are under 20 years old, but when they drive on highways or normal road, they sometimes drive recklessly, so the man's driver's licence was suspended because of his history of reckless driving. According to statistics, more men are speeding than women. In addition, the government has to make some strong laws for safe driving for teenagers. Therefore, fast driving is one of the causes of traffic accidents.
Secondly, people can cause traffic accidents by driving after they have been drinking alcohol a lot. We can usually see people who have these problems in every place like father, brother, friends, etc. In my case, a few years ago, my father, who got drunk, drove his car from his company to my home. However, my father was caught in a general crackdown on drunk drivers, so he had his license revoked for drunk driving. After this event, my father adopted the style of driving
