Young children watch movies with hidden messages, that they will need to understand and fulfil later in life. The characters in this movie all show the basics of the Beatitudes and how to achieve them. While many movies would uphold the same old ideas of individuality, success, normative families and perfection, the movie, Toy Story does not; Toy Story promotes ideas such as collectivity over individuality and transformation. The movie starts off with talking toys who have human like features such as talking, walking, and understanding. They differ in their violent content in their stories but similarly have a great deal of magic included and also both have prevalent characters to help them find their way.…

The methods the parents and leaders use in this film to teach their kids, literally tells the kids to “lay down their life for Jesus”. This method of teaching is wrong and can be detrimental to a child’s life in many ways.
