Town Mouse Research Paper
The Country Mouse just got back from his “dangerous” vacation at the Town Mouse's house in the city. The Country Mouse was sitting in his old, simple, dusty, and dirty home and was just thinking about his recent trip. He was pondering about how the Town Mouse needs to come spend a couple more days with the Country Mouse to show him what pieceful living was like. The Country Mouse spotted a piece of two week old corn and went and picked it up and ate it. Then he thought to himself, would the Town Mouse ever be able to just run wherever, pick up whatever, and not have to worry about anything? The answer is no. When the Town Mouse went outside of the house to get some fresh air just like he did all the time in town. Now when the Town Mouse went outside in town the only thing he had to worry about was people. The first thing the Town Mouse saw was this huge 20 pound tom cat. The Town Mouse has never been so frightened in his whole life so he took off running. The next thing he knew he was in a pasture with 200 head of 1,000 pound cattle. So then the Town Mouse tried running back to the the den. Except the only problem was that their was the tom cat guarding the house along with a pitbull. The Town Mouse has never been so scared in his whole life. So the Town Mouse decided that he was done with the “simple”, “easy”, country life and if he didn't leave, the town mouse was going to go nuts. He didn't even take time to pack up his things and head back to town. A week later the Town Mouse sent a letter to the Country Mouse explaining why he left. The letter stated “ Dear Country Mouse, Thank you for your hospitality but I cannot take the country life. My life here in town is so much better. I know your country life is so simple, and easy but you do not realize how nice it is to have luxuries. I’m sorry but I couldn’t take another day of the country life. Sometimes having luxuries and a fast and exciting life is better than have a simple, and boring
