Objectives
The study aims to:
1. Find out the frequency, treatment, placement and type of stories about the issue in both online news sites.
2. Analyze the content of the articles posted of each online sources.

Methodology

Scope and Limitation

The study is about the issue on purchasing second-hand helicopters by the PNP in two online news sources: GMAnews.tv and abs-cbnnews.com. These news sites are chosen since both have a regular news update about the said issue.

This study focus on the different parameters: the frequency of appearance, the placement, the content and the type of story. All related articles will be studied within the timeframe of 5 days from July 25 to 29, 2011 wherein during these days the senate starts their investigation about the issue.

For each website, these are the information to be gathered:

1. Frequency of news articles within the given time frame 2. Treatment of each article 3. Placement of the news article 4. Type of story on the issue 5. Content of the stories
