Also observations can be carried out by going onto different streets of the community. You will then is to carefully observe people and notice the ways they are different. To carry out the investigation you can use a checklist and tick each box. Another way is to collect data is doing a desktop research. This includes using the internet, library resources, and to contact people with expert knowledge.…

The second piece of advice is to take the time to study the information that the teachers give to you. Study for tests and quizzes several days before the exam, especially for semester tests. Some teachers make that grade worth one-third of your semester grade, and if you really want to get a good grade and do well in school, you need to study all of the time. If you are stuck on a problem or idea and don't understand it, don't be afraid to ask the teacher for help or a friend who is smart. It always pays off to ask for that extra help if you don't get something.…

    How to Study Harder

Principle one is space your studying out over time. If you study something and then study it again right away, it's fresh in your mind the second time. You'll probably feel like you've learned it well. Don't be fooled. Instead of restudying right away, wait a while (e.g., an hour, a day, a week) and then study again. You'll learn far more. Spacing works because when something's fresh in your mind you don't learn much from studying it; you learn more when you've had time to forget it, which allows you to strengthen the memory anew.…

Firstly you must have good study skills. And you don’t just have these, you have to work hard to develop good study skills. Firstly, get yourself a comfortable environment. May it be your kitchen table, sitting on your bed, on the floor, at a desk, or at the school library. Make sure you feel comfortable wherever you are, that you’re warm but not too warm, you have water, and everything you need to make you feel the most comfortable. Also, somewhere with not to many distractions! If you sit in the lounge room with the tv on behind you, you’re not going to remember a thing! If you sit at your desk with Facebook open right in front of you, turn it off! And if you’re at the library and you catch yourself staring off into that amazing view, move somewhere where you’re facing a wall! Get concentrated! Now, get organised. Without organisation you have no way of studying. Make sure when you go home you have all the right books with you for your study for that night. Maybe have a study book with all your notes in the one place. Don’t get lazy! Being organised is a key point for successful study!…

The first step to becoming a successful student is establishing excellent study techniques. In research of strategies for success, findings from Creed and Kuncel (2008) indicate that “the relationship between personality and academic performance is mediated by study attitudes and habits”(p.440). Through a little bit of research I have found a few helpful study habits. Practice testing is always a good way to study. The more frequently individuals do self-practice tests the better because it is less information to cover. If you do not want to go to the extreme of making up a full test, flash cards are always a good alternative. Distributed study is another good strategy to learn. Instead of reading all five chapters in a textbook the night before class, students who use the distributed work technique will disperse the reading and associate work evenly throughout the week. Portioning the work out over time will minimize stress and allow more free time to be able to accomplish daily tasks that need to be completed. Finally, building daily routine helps to keep students on top of all their assignments. If you set a specific time i.e. 6PM to 7PM daily, to work on/complete assigned tasks you will not have to scramble in order to complete your work.…
