Tomorrow When The War Began Film Analysis
I saw the theme of survival in the texts "Tomorrow when the War began" by John Marsden, "The Hunger Games" Directed by Garry Ross, "Lying on the side walk bleeding" by Evan Hunter and "Rush" Directed by Ron Howard.

The theme of survival means to keep something alive.

This hurts the survival chances of that group as all there supplies were destroyed. This is similar to "Tomorrow when the War began" when the teenagers blow up the Heron bridge in order to cut off the army’s main route in and out of Warrawee. This is similar because it increases the chances of Katniss in "The Hunger Games" and the teens in "Tomorrow when the War began" and decreased the survival chances of the

In other words, this means that no matter what life throws at someone, people need to find the strength to pick them selves up. “These thoughts were going through my mind as I continued to run, not feeling my numb foot, not even realizing that I was still running, that I still owned a body that galloped down the road among thousands of others.”…

One thing the movie tries to teach us is the struggle to come to one’s sexuality, Sometimes in life one’s sexuality is harder than we think. In the movie, “The History Boys”, the film showcases this reality in two different viewpoints. The first viewpoint would be through the perspective of a teenage boy. In fact, MGM was in a similar predicament with another child star around Judy’s age, Deanna Durbin, who had an exceptional voice, albeit more operatic. The studio even filmed the two girls in the musical short titled Every Sunday in 1936 as a “screen test” to help decide which one of the girls they wanted to keep by comparing their voices side by side to an audience (Clarke, 73).
