Tolerance Is Important
There are seven billion people spread throughout one hundred ninety six countries in the world. Among all these different people there are different races, different religions, different cultures and different languages. Everyone in the world acts and looks a little different due to their culture. Cultures has been developed over many years and passed down through generations. Culture is based on tradition, and no one wants to break tradition. Therefore, there are so many differences between people. That is why the most important trait that everyone in the world should have is tolerance. Tolerance is necessary for everyone to coexist peacefully and happily. Without tolerance there would be endless wars and crises throughout the world.
In the world there are over five thousand spoke languages and two thousand more languages that are dead. Each region speaks a language, and in each region there can be more than one language can be spoken. In Spain, for example, they speak Spanish, but Catalan/Valencian, Basque, Galician and Aranese are also recognized as co-official languages. Living in the same region people need to be tolerant because someone may not speak the same language. People have to deal with language barriers and cannot be angry at each other just because it is hard to understand. So, if people are more tolerant to try other methods of communication such as charades or even drawing pictures everything is resolved. Wars between tribes in Africa have been started just because they use different languages and did not understand each other. Casualties from this war could have been avoid if the tribes were tolerant and tried to find other forms of communication.
