Discovery of oil in Dubai
Fishing and pearl diving supported the region for many centuries. Oil was eventually discovered in 1966, but in small quantities as compared to neighbouring countries. In 1969 Dubai exported oil for the first time. It is estimated that Dubai produces 50,000 to 70,000 barrels (11,000 m cube) of oil a day.

Dubai’s oil reserves have diminished significantly and are expected to be exhausted in 20 years. Revenue from petroleum and natural gas currently account for less than 6% of the emirates GDP.

Introduction
Tokyo sky city is a hypothetical architectural project of a super tall skyscraper with the height that of two third of a mile. It was proposed in year of 1989 by Takenaka Construction firm of Tokyo, during the height of Japanese asset price bubble. The main aim of the ambitious architects of the firm then was to change the world’s approach towards urban crowding and overpopulation in the megacities like Tokyo, Mexico city and others.
Need, idea and concept behind erecting the tallest skyscraper
The hypothetical project of Tokyo sky city was outcome of various needs. The problems that the people were facing in Tokyo thereby giving the way to come up with new and innovation ideas in this era of 21st century.

The city helps in making life easier by providing a city with in a city thereby making it dependent fully on technology. Though it would save time but it has lot of draw backs. As the city has a height of two third of a mile hence it is more prone to threats like terrorist attacks, fires, earthquakes etc. It will make people lazy and may lead to many diseases because of less physical work done by a body. But to solve this problem plateaus are made as recreational zones hence saved time can be utilized in a better and more efficient way.
